British Super Bikes at Brands Hatch

Tom Sykes celebrated his first BSB race win since Knockhill in 2008 this afternoon, as the Kawasaki WSB time secured the second race win of the weekend at Brands Hatch as he fended off the challenges of Ryuichi Kiyonari. However, following mixed results Josh Brookes, Tommy Hill and Ryuichi Kiyonari are now equal on points in the overall standings going into the final race of the day.

Sykes said: “It’s nice to be back and that was a good race. I was pleased to get out front and we made big changes since yesterday and they clearly paid off, so thanks to the team for their hard work. We now want a repeat performance in the next one to try and make it a double.”

Jean-Mare and David at St Nicholas Church Harpenden

I had great time shooting Jean-Mare and David’s this weekend, what a lovely couple, I wish them all the best. Its was a very changeable day weather wise but the rain stopped at the right time even time for me to take the photographs.

They ceremony started at 12:00 at St Nicholas Church in Harpenden, It is the oldest known church in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. It was originally built as a Chapel-of-Ease in about 1217, until it was enlarged and the existing tower added in 1470. The old church was demolished in 1861 to make way for a larger building. The tower contains a ring of eight bells, the oldest of which dated from 1612.

He are just some of the images for the day.

Laura and Russell pre wedding shots at Luton Hoo

I spent a very present morning looking around Luton Hoo with Laura and Russell, this is the venue that they have chosen for there wedding reception. They are getting married in Harpenden in October which is about 10 minutes from Luton Hoo.

Lying on the borders of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, Luton Hoo is one of the most famous historical buildings in the area,

The Mansion House has a choice of beautifully appointed rooms in which to exchange your wedding vows. These include the walnut panelled Churchill Room and the Library – the latter part of an original, impressively large Ballroom designed by Robert Adams and used for the filming of ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’.

Those who marry at Luton Hoo will be following in illustrious footsteps. In the year of their marriage, Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh visited Luton Hoo and returned to the mansion on their anniversary for several years after the event to the rooms that now form part of the Queen Elizabeth State Suite.
